Community Outreach and Education

Everyone needs to be involved to ensure our coastal waters are protected. By working cooperatively with other federal, state, county and non-profit agencies and organizations, this campaign strives to help keep Hawai`i’s waters clean and healthy.

The Blue Water Campaign coordinator gives presentations on Hawai`i’s water quality issues and importance to students K-12 and university students. Presentations will also be given to community groups that are interested and/or have a vested interest in protecting Hawai`i’s natural resources.
